I'd originally planned to make my tartlets with peaches rather than apples, but there were rave reviews for the apple tartlets and seeing as I have apples in my fridge, apple and peach tartlets were in my future. I had this big daisy cookie cutter that I decided to use and I kind of like the results. I though that the fruit looked like the center of the flower.

TWD: Parisian Apple (and Peach) Tartlet
I'd originally planned to make my tartlets with peaches rather than apples, but there were rave reviews for the apple tartlets and seeing as I have apples in my fridge, apple and peach tartlets were in my future. I had this big daisy cookie cutter that I decided to use and I kind of like the results. I though that the fruit looked like the center of the flower.

Jessica, those are soooo cute. I absolutely love them.
Seriously Jessica, that is the cutest cookie cutter! You're right - the fruit is the pretty center of the flower. So glad you enjoyed the tartlets - this is definitely one of my fave Dorie recipes to date!
We really liked these too, especially combined with next weeks ice cream ;)
I love the results using your flower cutter! I made mine with peaches too and they were awesome!
Very pretty indeed. They do look like big flowers.
So delicious :-)
You definitely picked the best week ever to wait until last minute. I love your flower cookie cutter, that would make anything adorable. I totally felt like it was cheating too and that's why I made the Peanut
Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chipsters. They were so good and I can see why you would choose them as a studying snack: hearty and comforting.
HOw ingenious Jessica, to have made them into stars! Makes them much more original!
Very creative! Great thinking.
My goodness - fancy and beautiful, and I'm sure very tasty. Love the shape you chose.
Your tartlets looks gorgeous and so artistic!
Your tarts are gorgeous! I love the shape! I made peach, too and really loved them.
I've been waiting ;) jk. Leave it to you to have some amazing shape/pan/cookie cutter. So darn cute...makes them even more perfect.
Love your tarts! The shape, the fruit, everything. I hope to catch up with you and your blog if I ever get my computer service back (on borrowed computer now)!
Those are the prettiest Parisian Tartlets! Daisies are my favorite flowers so I LOVE the puff pastry cutouts! The apples and peaches do look like part of a flower. Soo pretty! I'll be going back to this recipe too!
Thanks so much for baking with me this week! I love the shape of your tartlets - they're so cute!! :)

Super Scrummy! Love the new catch phrase. :o) And I absolutely adore the flower shaped tarts. Great job, Jessica!
Those are gorgeous! I thought the peach was great, but seeing how good everybody's apple tartlets look, I want to make those too. I can't get over how amazing they look with your flower cutter!
GORGEOUS! How did you get that shape? It looks like a flower! Mine look nothing like that!
I was hoping you would end up making this. Been checking.
I LOVE the daisy cut of the pastry. It does look like a lovely flower.
What a great recipe and good looking blog. Nice to meet you.
Great plate presentation. This one looks like it was a fave. with everyone.
It did feel a little like cheating, for good these were with such little work.
Your stars are adorable (we just had square tarts - which still tasted good :-P )
Interesting that you keep your apples in the fridge. My father also does that, we always leave ours out (and our lemons/limes/pears/grapefruits, whatever) only really refrigerating berries.
Wow, your's is the best looking tarts I have seen, love the star shaped, so clever.
Those look so cool! I really want to try this recipe with peaches now.
They look so good! I just love that cookie cutter.WAs NOT this recipe super easy to make and very good! Sorry it took me so long to check them out. My computer died and I had to buy a new one. I won't complain because it was 7 years old and my new one is so nice! I posted the oatmeal cookies tonight if you want to check them out!
These *did* feel like cheating but they were so good and so easy! I'll have to try the apple version, I'm sure it's tasty!
Those are the cutest tarts! You did a great job, and I know they tasted delicous.
